17.8% FAILS NIGERIAN BAR EXAM



Nearly 20% of the student who sat for the Bar exam (August/September 2016 final examinations of the Nigerian Law School) has  failed, so to say, wont be called to the bar this November.
Olanrewaju Anadeke, Executive Director of the Nigerian Law School, gave the figures that showed 17.8% (980 out of 5,517) of the student who sat for the exam failed.
In addition 4, 178 of the candidates passed the examination without any conditions while 359 of them had conditional pass.
The august exam batch has a similar report recording 23.6% failure rate, as 709 candidates out of 3, 056 of them who sat for that batch of the final examination from the NLS, did not make the pass mark. Below is the august/ September exam result analysis

Lagos Campus: 8, Abuja campus: 8, Yola Campus: 4, Kano Campus: 3, Yenagoa Campus: 1, Enugu Campus: 0
CLASS UPPER: 568 candidates
SECOND CLASS LOWER: 1,359 candidates
PASS: 2,227 candidates
CONSENT: 359 candidates
FAIL: 980 candidates
