Lassa Fever: Ogbongonog Market Asaba, Delta State Fumigated.





Delta State commissioner for Environment, John Nani has taken a commendable effort to see to the fumigation of Delta State markets to prevent the spread and outbreak of Lassa fever.
Lassa fever is an acute disease that is transmitted to humans from pathogens like rodents through urine contact on food.
The commissioner stated that the state government is committed to making sure the state is free from such disease. The fumigation exercise kicked off at the Ogbongonogo market Asaba and will be continuous to other state markets
