Senate Condems Invasion of Judges Homes and Arrest



The Nigerian senate has condemned the disgraceful invasion of the homes of Nigerian serving judges and the arrest and detention of the judges whom where alleged to have participated in corrupt practices by the Department of State Security.
Senator Joshua lidani, chairman senate committee on judiciary tabled the issue of the arrest on the Tuesday senate meeting
The senate president, Bukola Saraki, clarified that the need to fight corruption is very much important but the fight must be scoped within the constitution and human right circle. He however , charged the committee on judiciary, human right and legal matters to review the matter as related to laws establishing security agency and report back to the house
