BOB DYLAN WINS NOBEL PRIZE FOR LITERATURE

US singer, songwriter and artist Bob Dylan has been awarded the 2016 Nobel Prize for Literature.

The Noble Prize has always been won by literature writers and stuff, but Bob became the first singer and song writer to win the Noble prize. He also is the first American since 1993, after Toni Morrison,to win the Laurette prize.

This is possible because of his creativity in new poetic expressing with American song traditional.

Dylan's lyrics have incorporated various political, social, philosophical, and literary influences. They defied existing pop music conventions and appealed to the burgeoning counterculture.

The singer is due to perform later at the Cosmopolitan hotel in Las Vegas.
